Most of us relate indulging to something that must bring us guilt or shame; however, when done correctly, and with balance and moderation, it is an act of treating one's self with love.

Life is meant to be enjoyed.
Therefore, that is exactly what we will do on this retreat.

We will relish in all that the Amalfi Coast has to offer; local cuisine, exquisite ambiance, never ending views, boutique shopping, an array of small towns, all with something unique to provide and cultural education.

As for our FSW yoga practices; we will indulge our body, mind & soul in Asana, Meditation, Pranayama, Ayurveda and community.

Did you know that KAMA (pleasure) is the first of Ayurveda's Four Desires?
That's right, according to the Vedas (ancient scripture of Ayurveda), there are four aims (or goals) of life, pleasure being the first.

Why?

Because, without pleasure, what is life? Feeling good allows us to live a life of true fulfillment! Ayurveda teaches us how to approach pleasure with self-awareness, moderation and non-attachment.

We will put all of this to work through Ayurvedic philosophy on creating routine, rituals, healthy habits and food as medicine. Everything you practice on the mat and in these workshops will provide you with the tools to take them into your daily life during this retreat and back home, allowing you to maximize this experience to its FULLEST.

Amalfi Coast | A dreamer's destination
The Amalfi Coast is a 50-kilometer stretch of coastline along the southern edge of Italy’s Sorrentine Peninsula, in the Campania region. It’s a popular holiday destination, with sheer cliffs and a rugged shoreline dotted with small beaches and pastel-colored fishing villages. The coastal road between the port city of Salerno and clifftop Sorrento winds past grand villas, terraced vineyards and cliffside lemon groves.

As for the retreat center, it's a 12 bedroom villa, located in Marciano, just outside of Sorrento with breath taking views of Capri, Ishia, Procida, Gulf of Naples and Vesuvius. The center resides on sprawling grounds with several gardens, terraces and sitting areas as well as a pool overlooking the island of Capri.
It's the perfect place to embody 'la dolce vita'
THE FOOD
Amalfi Coast is a foodie's paradise.
The Amalfi Coast boasts a rich cuisine of seafood, pasture-raised meats and local produce. The crystalline waters and towering mountains that characterize the landscape are also the source of the ingredients in the local cuisine, where meat and fish, cheeses, cured meats and vegetables come together in delicious recipes.

Enjoy sumptuous pastas, authentic pizza and the most mouth-watering gelato known to human, Italy wins in all food departments, and there are some true specialities to be found in Naples and on the Amalfi Coast. Such as, Italian pastries, pizza, pastas, caprese salad, fishes & limoncello.

You will see the total price for your accommodation; however, you will only be prompted to pay your $515 non-refundable deposit at this time.

ONBOARDING
After completing your deposit and registration, you will receive a welcome email as confirmation for your booking. Within 24 hours your invoice for the final balance with its due date will be sent to your registration email. Lastly, you will receive a separate email containing a welcome packet with all current need-to-know items to help you stay organized and best prepare for your upcoming FSW retreat!

Do I Need a Passport?
Yes!
How Do I get to Amalfi Coast Yoga Retreats From Naples?
Transportation is included from Naples airport or train station upon arrival and for departure. **Please be ready by 3pm on May 6 & 13 for this shuttle.
I am new to yoga, can I still join this retreat?
Absolutely! My classes are all levels. I provide a variety of options from modifications to advanced variations!
Where Do I Fly Into?
Rome, Italy (FCO) or Naples, Italy (NAP). If you fly to Rome, take the train to Naples for our shuttle to Amalfi Coast Yoga Retreats.
Will my food allergies & restrictions be accommodated?
Absolutely! Prior to leaving you will receive a registration from and can list any allergies you have.
Is There Free Wifi?
Yes!
Will there be yoga equipment I can use there?
Yes, however, ACYR does charge a rental fee which can be paid to them in cash upon arrival.
What time is check in on the 6th and 13th?
4pm. We will have a welcome orientation + dinner on the first night.
What are the covid-19 restrictions and policies?
Currently, there are none. You do not need proof of a vaccine or negative covid-19 test upon arrival or return to the U.S
Will My USD Be Accepted?
Most places, yes. However, I reccommend getting euros from your bank prior to departure.
What time is check out on the 13th & 20th?
11am. We will just have breakfast and goodbyes the final morning.
Do most people sign up with a friend or come solo?
It is always a combination of both! If you are nervous to come solo, know that there will be others and it's a great opportunity to step out of your comfort zone and make new friends!
What Do I Need to Pack?
You will receive a welcome packet with a suggested packing list at least 3 months prior.

The deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable. The balance (total cost minus the deposit) is not refundable, but it is transferable to future Free Spirited Wanderer Retreats.
Any cancellations done 30 days or less prior to retreat start date:
All payments are non-refundable or non-transferable.​

Retreat Final Balance Late Payments: If your invoice is Early Bird Pricing and your payment is not received within 48 hours of your original due date, your invoice will move to Regular Pricing and be updated with your new due date plus the dollar difference between the pricing. If your invoice is Regular Pricing, and your payment is not received within 48 hours of your original due date, a $25 late fee will be added. **Any final balance payments not received within 72 hours of your original due date may result in a forfeiture of your booking.
